In this post, I’ll be sharing some spa bathroom decorating ideas with you; because who doesn’t love going to the spa, right?
Just being able to relax and unwind, without having to worry about the world around you. The only trouble with going to the resort is that it can be pretty expensive. So, what if we told you that you could make your very own bathroom feel just like one of those extra exclusive, costly spas?
To help you to transform your bathroom into a space that you want to relax in, I have put together a guide on the things you will need to make sure that you do.
You should never underestimate the power of candles. While they should never be left unattended, simply having some candles in the bathroom brings about a feeling of serenity and calm that you might not otherwise be able to achieve.
Candles are perfect for creating a soft, warm glow which plays an integral part in relaxation.
Display Your S
Soaps are made to be used in a bathroom. However, that doesn’t mean that they won’t also work as a decoration. Take a glass jar and fill it with an assortment of soaps.
This could be all one or perhaps several shades like light pink, light purple or light green. The idea is that it is not only a useful way to store soap but also it looks great too.
This vase I’m using is from the dollar store, got some years ago. I filled it with six bars of dove soap and which cost me less than two dollars each.
Bring in Some Colour
Bring in some
Soft colors help you unwind and relax. Delicate light pink is a great way to keep things interesting while adding some edge. It brings exciting aspects but is still quite soothing. To balance out the light tones, try mixing in dark or beige wooden elements to warm things up.
Roll Up Your Towels
Who doesn’t love being able to wrap themselves up in a fluffy towel? Wrapping yourself up in a towel is one of the best things about being in the spa.
You can have some of your spa-like towels in your bathroom, and it is a great idea to take the time to fold them up and have them in a pile on the shelf. Or you could simply roll them up and store them in a basket. Not only will they be easy to grab, but they are going to look great too.
Store Products in Neutral Jars
One of the simplest things that you can do to upgrade your bathroom is to do away with all those packets and boxes.
Empty those cotton pads and instead have them in a neutral jar or container. Not only will this make things look classy and elegant, but it will also help to keep the space neat and tidy too.
Fill Your Bathroom with Beautiful Scents
A good smell goes a long way and, in the bathroom, it can sometimes feel as if pleasant smells are few and far between.
There are several ways that you can add beautiful scents to your bathroom. Some popular ones include the use of reed, scented candles or perhaps a scent diffuser machine.
Bring in Some Plants
Plants are a great addition to your home, not only do they add a splash of color to space, but they also keep the air clean and fresh too.
Just try and make sure that you choose hardy plants that are going to be able to deal with the fluctuations in temperature as well as all the moisture too.
As you can see, there are plenty of ways that you can make sure that your bathroom feels just like an exclusive spa. Best of all, you won’t have to travel far, and this particular spa comes at a rather impressive low price!
